REGULATORY STATUS & FIRM STRUCTURE
Eight Peaks Wealth Management (“EPWM”) is a DBA of Zinrett Financial Services LLC, a Registered Investment Adviser (“RIA”). Advisory services are offered only in the State of Colorado and in other jurisdictions where the firm is properly registered, notice-filed, or exempt from registration. Registration does not imply a certain level of skill or training.
Polzin Integrated Tax (“PIT”) is a DBA of Zinrett Tax Services LLC, which provides tax preparation, tax advisory, bookkeeping, and related services. PIT is not a Registered Investment Adviser and does not provide investment advisory services.
EPWM and PIT are legally distinct business operations, with different regulatory frameworks, service scopes, fee structures, and client agreements—even though they may be operated by the same individual.
No advisory, planning, or tax relationship is formed simply by interacting with this website, downloading content, or communicating with the firm. A formal, signed engagement agreement is required to establish any client relationship.
DISTINCTION BETWEEN EPWM (RIA) AND PIT (TAX SERVICES)
The services provided by each DBA are governed separately:

Tax-aware planning (not tax preparation unless explicitly contracted through PIT)
Polzin Integrated Tax (Zinrett Tax Services LLC):

Tax advisory and planning
Bookkeeping and small business support
IRS correspondence assistance
Because the entities are separate:
Each requires its own written engagement agreement
Each follows its own regulatory obligations
Each maintains its own fee structure
One engagement does not grant access to the services of the other
No tax advice is provided under an EPWM advisory agreement unless explicitly stated in writing, and no investment advice is provided under a PIT tax engagement.
Clients who engage both firms may benefit from coordinated planning, but each service is contracted independently.
FIDUCIARY STATUS
EPWM (Zinrett Financial Services LLC) acts as a fiduciary solely to clients with an active advisory agreement and only for accounts and services specified within that agreement.
This fiduciary duty does not extend:
To prospects
To tax-only clients under PIT
To individuals consuming public or educational content
To communications outside the formal advisory scope

Misstated income or deductions
Incorrect account integrations (e.g., RightCapital)
CUSTODY, STATEMENTS & FEE BILLING
Custody, clearing, and brokerage services may be provided by:
Charles Schwab & Co., Inc.
National Financial Services LLC and Fidelity Brokerage Services LLC, Members NYSE/SIPC
Advisory fees are deducted from client accounts only after custodians receive billing instructions from EPWM.
Clients should review custodial statements carefully and compare them with EPWM’s reports. Report any discrepancies to EPWM promptly.
PROXY VOTING POLICY
EPWM does not vote proxies on behalf of clients. Clients are solely responsible for receiving, reviewing, and acting on proxy materials.
LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
Neither EPWM, PIT, nor their parent entities (Zinrett Financial Services LLC or Zinrett Tax Services LLC) shall be liable for:
Direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, punitive, or special damages
